VME-0106 Laser Caliper

Application domain

The calliper is designed for measuring and control of diameters  of standing timber  of various kinds

Operation principle

The method of diameter gauging is based on measuring the value of the arrow of a segment  formed when the caliper is placed on a tree by using a RF603 Series triangulation laser sensor mounted on the caliper. The measurement result is shown on a built-in display. The caliper makes it possible to sort trees by kind, allotments, type of wood, and memorize and  transfer the results to database.
